It allows one PEX line to split into 2 directions, making it a fundamental component in residential and commercial plumbing layouts. The fitting is manufactured from lead-free forged brass, providing high strength, corrosion resistance, and compliance with potable water standards. Each end features a barbed insert connection designed for use with copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamp systems. When properly installed, the crimp ring compresses the PEX tubing over the barbs to create a secure, leak-resistant mechanical seal.
